Online property valuation: new seller leads in three steps

Owners answer "What is my property worth?" on your website in three short steps and leave their contact details along the way. For estate agents, it is one of the most effective ways to win new instructions.

What you get

  • A valuation in three steps: property type and location, key facts such as area and year built, then contact details
  • A first price range as a guide, based on rules your contact sets up with you
  • A note that your personal assessment will follow, so owners start a conversation with you
  • A message to you with all the details about the property and the person
  • A prominent place on the site, for example on the home page and with your services

How it works

In the preview you can try the valuation with sample values. On the call, your contact clarifies with you which details are asked for and how the first range is worked out for your area. Owners send the valuation, you get back to them with your personal assessment and arrange a viewing if they want one.

What we need from you

  • Your area and the property types you value
  • Rough guide values for your region, such as prices per square metre by location and type
  • Who should receive the requests and how quickly you can respond
  • The text owners should see after sending

Good to know

The online range is a first guide, not an appraisal or a binding value, and says so in the valuation. An automatic connection to market data is not included; your contact discusses with you how your guide values stay current. A quick personal reply decides whether the contact turns into an instruction. Because owners' data is involved, your privacy policy should mention the valuation.
